Current Students

If you are working on a project with me, you might already have a fixed weekly meeting with me or not (if you are not so regular: FIX IT!). If you are taking my current course, you are most welcome during the assigned office hours. In any case, you can just send me an email for a prior appointment.

Prospective Students

We as faculties are always looking for creative and dedicated students. Trust me they are now endangered species! If you think you are one of those and are willing to take the risk in working with me at any level (intern, research fellow, Ph.D.), take a look at my research group HMI and if you find something that does not scare you away, PLEASE send me your updated CV with a statement of purpose (1-2 pages only). Candidates having fellowships by CSIR, UGC-JRF or DST-Inspire are strongly encouraged to apply.

Invited Talks

I am always enthusiastic about interacting with students and colleagues outside my institution. If you have a topic in mind, please check my teaching and research profile prior to contacting me. Please feel free to drop me an email with schedule, location, and topic (if any) and I will try my best to work it out.

Project Evaluation/Thesis Defense/Review

While I love to listen, learn and provide feedback on other’s work, I would request you to please check my research profile before sending me an invite. If the project, thesis or the work to be reviewed aligns with my research interests, it becomes easier for me to come on-board.
